Since guys don't fly with concussions, maybe Briere swam to Florida.

He apparently is a very strong swimmer

If he was diagnosed with a concussion on the 21st, and the game against Florida was on the 21st. When did the Flyers actually fly to Florida for the game? So using simple common sense, isn't it possible that the he was diagnosed after flying to Florida. Because they typically don't let players fly with concussions. So what factual evidence do you have, that Briere flew to Florida with a known concussion?

Would you do Bobrovsky and JVR for Nash?

What would Columbus be scouting on the flyers?

- flyerdude17

I sure as hell don't want a 7.8 mil cap hit every year. No thanks

The only way i would consider moving JVR for a forward was if it was for Bobby Ryan. However, I still think the Flyers need to address defense more than anything.

NEWARK, N.J. -- A little attitude adjustment from coach Peter Laviolette was just what the Philadelphia Flyers needed Saturday in a 4-1 victory against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center.

Despite losing forwards Jaromir Jagr (lower body), Danny Briere (concussion) and Zac Rinaldo (upper body) to injuries during the course of the game, the Flyers (28-14-4) rallied behind several inspiring efforts. At the top of that list was Scott Hartnell, who scored a pair of power-play goals.

Since the Florida game was January 24, and considering the Flyers flew to Florida on January 22nd, after the home loss to Boston, it's safe to say Briere was concussed on January 22nd, since Holmgren said he would be out indefinitely with a concussion after the NJ Devils game on January 21.

How is that for factual evidence and common sense?

CSNBAYAREA.COM: Kevin Kurz reports Washington Capitals winger Mike Knuble might make sense as a trade target for the San Jose Sharks.

Flyers could get Knuble for pennies

I expect they will be and that could hurt attendance at Oriole Park even more.

Someday, the O's will lose money and Angelos will sell.

Until then, it's like being a Bills fan.

What is that saying? It is saying that they are speculating when Briere was concussed, in what game. Does it say when Briere was officially diagnosed as having a concussion. In other words was he diagnosed before, or after flying to Florida?

He was diagnosed after the Devils game on January 21, and flew to Florida on January 22 after the home loss to the Bruins.

I would like to see Stasburg stay healthy all year long. Braves, Marlins, and Nats are going to be a handful. The Mets will be beaten like a drum by all 4 teams in the Division all year long.

Idk. Bryz was supposed to have better numbers in Philly but that didnt work out. If we trade bob and Jvr, it better be for a damn good defensemen

A lot of folks who are saying the Phoenix system proved to be somewhat of a cocoon for Bryzgalov, have some fuel for their argument. Mike Smith who has always been average at best, is putting up similar save % and gaa as Bryzgalov did in Phoenix.

So he's going to pout his way out of Columbus after he just got there? Pathetic. He would rather be part of the problem there, instead of being a solution.
