The good thing for the Leafs is that they have virtually no competition for the 8th spot. Washington will reclaim the third spot and the Panthers will have their annual end of the year fail.

???? 10-6-4, sue me - gojets
The last column...the 4. Were they wins or were they losses in overtime or in a shoot out? If they were losses, add those to the 6 regulation losses...that's 10. Now unless I'm incorrect about overtime losses counting as losses I apologize. But last I checked...and I could be wrong again, that losses in OT and SO are still considered losses. |

Dont matter they both blow. Reimer just blows harder. Price wouldnt be nearly as good without his (frank)ing goalpost. |

8th place losing ground.. cant be better - senstroll
To whom?
I think the Caps are going to finish 1st in their division. That would leave the Leafs, Sens and Panthers for the 7th and 8th spots. I like their chances. |

His goalposts are bigger, league should look into this kind of cheating. |

Funny. They either started watching in 2005 or in 90-91. Probably the most fair weather fans this sport has seen. But of course, they only stopped watching the team to get management to make changes. |

I understand sticking up for the goalies...but (frank) me, when they let in goals like they have been it's pretty (frank)ing hard to blame the defence. A good goalie would be able to bail his team out after mistakes from time to time....you see any of that happening tonight? This team is in trouble, they have 2 back ups playing. - weirdoh
I'm blaming the offense more than the defense. Why are goalies the scapegoats in shutouts?
Let's say that our goalies allow 2-3 goals more than the average goalie tonight. Hasn't our offense scored 2-3 goals fewer than an average offense?
Nobody has done his job tonight. 20 players have played tonight for the Leafs. I believe you have to assign blame proportionately. Everyone shoulders an equal share of the failure tonight. Not one guy has done his job to expectations.
They haven't been able to hang on to control of the puck for more than a few seconds at a time. Possession is so important to success, and we haven't been able to make a simple pass all night. |
