pathetic loss, we took them lightly, we weren't ready and created no offense at all, against a team that has won 1 of its last 10ish away games

i get that they may be "tired" but every team has schedules like this now, you have to find ways to beat teams like florida and dont let them hang around

there was 0 energy at all after the first 10mins

They put on a clinic showing how to lose to a lackluster team.

If there's any positive to be found in this, Elias, Parise and Kovalchuk all had quotes indicating in different ways that this outcome and this type of performance is something that simply should not be. There were no excuses. No mention of fatigue by any of them, except to say that fatigue was not a factor. Which is good when it comes from your three guys wearing letters on their sweaters.

The way Florida played, we really needed to establish more of a forecheck, because it was tough to play a transition game...especially when they went ahead. And we simply couldn't...or didn't play with enough desire to do what needed to be done.

I hope we can get Larsson, Tallinder and Zajac all back with enough time for the team to have that chemistry prior to the playoffs. That just makes us so much better defensively...and it can also lead to more transition opportunities.
