I do NOT like the hair pulling, no excuse is right.

That said Sestito fought 3 players that are all better hockey players then he is so he got them off the ice for 5 minutes so he did his job though as I mentioned I think it probably fired the rangers up more.

Butsy, accidentally clicked edit rather than quote for your last post about Hartnell being due for a goalie interference penalty. Sorry.

It may actually not be a bad thing if the Flyers ended up with a goalie interference penalty or two today -- just don't play with fire too often, even with Rangers' struggling power play.

The Flyers MUST start getting more traffic in front of Lundqvist and not let him be so comfortable around his net. I'll take the trade-off of a goalie interference penalty somewhere along the way if the Flyers can get a few goals in tight like the one Simmonds scored last game at MSG.

i miss those dubi/richards fights

I do not miss the Richards/Asham fights, I used to pray he didn't get Beagle'd during those fights.

agreed 100%

I have a feeling after last game Hartnell is going to be in Henk's grill all game, like you said don't play with fire but lets see some chaos.

I wouldn't mind if the game gets insane today, I'd like to see some controlled bedlam if that's possible

3 fights & not one would I say Sestito clearly won, maybe the Dubi fight, but Dubi is not a fighter, he will drop them cause he doesn't back down but he's NOT A FIGHTER. Only against Mike Richards.

And there's no excuse for a guy who outweighs & outsizes his opponent to pull his hair.

what is the friggin' big deal about the hair pulling. Crap happens in a fight: biting, hair pulling, eye gouging. is it PC in hockey? no, but give sestito credit. his third fight in the game, and he got the better of prust (who is no slouch when it comes to dropping the gloves).

The boys need a win today. They need to know they can beat the rangers. I'm also sick of hearing their fans.

I want to hear Hartnell tell they to suck it.

No doubt about it. If a top goalie, especially Lundqvist, gets to see the shots coming through, we'll likely end up getting shut out on another 40-50 shot effort.

If they make Lundqvist's job easy once again, they will not win. He's a damned good goalie, but if he doesn't have to work to see the puck, he's stopping 99% of the shots you take.

it's either that or they are getting them blocked by other players.

That's an issue, too, but the saves he's making, he's seeing the shot all the way. You won't beat Curtis McIlhenney that way, let alone Henrik Lundqvist

it would be flat out disgraceful to allow a 20pt swing to your top division rival. They have to find a way to pull this out. Let's go boys! Grind the piss out of them.

Very little traffic and poor shot selection don't help along with not winning enough battles for the puck

look at the goal the other night off Coby's skate, get to the net and cause and get the puck there. Should be simply but it's not. You need to be willing to go the net and take and give a beating.

Sometimes you gotta wake up the next day pissing blood.

Yep. Not every goal is going to be a breakaway like Braydon Schenn's in the last game at MSG, got to get dirty at times.

If the rangers weren't clinching like sissies he wouldn't have to use the hair to peel the face away from his chest and get shots where it counts- in their big (frank)ing mouths. Other than that unless where in some sort of fight to the death situation i.e hand to hand combat in war, prison riot etc. No I don't condone hair pulling but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Maybe if Fantasy Camp could keep himself under control, he wouldn't have to fight 3 times.

I'm going with swimmer. Steam punker would appreciate man's need to do w/e it takes to survive a combat situation.
