While I liked the jump Giroux showed he needs to stop being so fancy. Dump it in when you have the chance instead of trying to go through 3 guys or trying some miracle low percentage pass.

Schenn is also starting to be guilty of this.

Very frustrating period. Thankfully there's 2 periods of hockey left but playing behind against this team is tough.

I read that and really thats the kind of guy the Flyers need to get. Has experience and really can add leadership on the back end with Timmo. He wont cost alot but this covo has been beaten to death so I wont continue lol

JJ the defensive all star would solve all of those problems.

Hal Gill Will be here shortly. He will do a better job of clearing that crease.

He blows sub par in the playoffs!

He's the best goaltender in the league ...the Rags have just been terrible not Lundqvist

I'm not sure Doug Harvey could solve them all.

I think Lundqvist is the Hart trophy winner. Barring an epic collapse I think he already has it wrapped up.

This isn't gooning it up.

Boyle took two late runs at Hartnell along the blue line that period. Nothing called.

The Rangers aren't some macho team. Hit them back, and hit them hard.

- flyer_nutter

Flyers have tried to goon it up against this team. Would you like boyle coming in on our goalie and swatting at his pads? Refs squishing this fast

Rinaldo is quickly becoming one of my favorite guys on this team.
- flyer_nutter

Rinaldo has shown that he can play in the big leauges. If he can get a shot and still play like a bastard, this kid will have a nice little career

I think Giroux bears some responsibility for the last goal. He is trying to do too much on the PK and in general. He put Timmo on a bad spot there, and he was caught deep and had to go for a change . The new pk guys were not yet in position when Richards made the pass to Gaborik.

Exactly.

An offensive d-man who has a worse defensive game than Carle is not what the Flyers need.

This game is a perfect example.

How will he do that? By farting? He doesn't really uses his size effectively nor is he overly physical. I don't want Gill.

Gill brings a big physical guy in the crease and can help MAB and Gusty with their game. He has helped with alot of the young guys MTL has, Can do teh same here. If we can draft a few Dmen I wouldnt mind having Gill here next year to help mentor them

I have seen many a game where he has made life hell in front of the crease. Not a super quick mobil Dman by any means but Gill makes life hell in front of the net and id like to have that for Bryz and/or Bob

When did he suddenly get this reputation? I have not really seen that from him over the course of his career. He reminds me of Chris Therein.
