Here is a note most people don't consider about rangers/islanders/devils players.

Once they are firmly implanted in the community it is the one geographic place in the world where a hockey player can choose from 3 teams as a UFA, and not actually have to uproot his life.

I'd be absolutely shocked if Parise doesn't somehow end up a Ranger (or less likely an Islander) next season.

our D isnt old at all

you take away brodeur and hedberg and the devils are a pretty young team, elias hasnt shown any signs of slowing down either

in the offseason people kept saying the devils werent making the playoffs, and would struggle to be a bubble team, now look where they are
