Frankly, his lackadaisical approach to opening the bench door is pathetic. And don't get me started on closing it.

Final verdict: gutless puke

- BulliesPhan87

And he doesnt even have the nerve to wear the winter skull cap. He was wearing a regular Flyers cap, loser.

The speculation was Seravelli adding 2+2 to get 73. He saw Z moved to the Phantoms and literally guessed that it meant JVR was coming back so he reported he "could" be in last night's game. Idiot.

what's the big deal? Didn't he tweet this is misinformation? It's not like he reported it as fact in the paper. Since when is a tweet supposed to be taken seriously?

This argument would hold up far better if it weren't a tweet from an official Flyers beat writer posting from an account titled after an official media source and the team's name.

strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of refereeing. Supreme mod power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Hey give the guy a break, he was coming in cold for those warm ups, he hasn't been with the team long enough to get the right beenie, nor can he afford it with his chump change of a minimum deal, and he isn't non competitive. He was told to let some in to boost everyone's ego before the game after getting shutdown by Nabokov.

They pull you out of the stands, and NFG has to sit by herself. You replace an injured Bobrovsky, stand on your head and win the game. Bam! Goalie controversy!

no thanks. i'm the same age as the two "39 year old men" tending goal for the devils. i don't need your ridicule; i have enough nonsense to deal with on a daily basis.

- Leafs in big on Bobby Ryan and JVR for Schenn deal getting closer

- I have received confirmation that James Van Riemsdyk will be dealt before deadline day unless something dramatic happens

Source: http://pro-sports-talk.bl...re-weekend-rumblings.html

- Sink.

Guy has a concussion and needs to skate before he can get traded. Some of those rumors are absurd. Why would VAN trade for Suter, why would NASH trade him to VAN?

And if Carter gets moved to BOS I will literally sh!! my pants.

Yep. I'm going to get all het up about rumors from a guy whose track record is 11 days long. Well, at least he hasn't had time to be wrong, yet.

Look, it's not like rumor sites in general have a shining reputation. But a guy starting a blog on Blogger and sending out Tweets with nothing that indicates who he is?

We have an anonymous rumor guy as the owner of this site, but at least it is a site that he has spent some money building, registering, and developing. And we all figure out over time which of the bloggers here have credibility and which don't, but they themselves offer their bona fides.

And most of us here know to follow the credentialed journalists to have some sense of what is real (and we figure out pretty quickly which of those guys are for real and which are hacks).

Here's a good indicator whether the guy is legitimate or not. He says the Bruins don't currently have the Cap space to take on Carter. Well according to Capgeek, the Bruins can currently take a full Season Cap hit of around 9M. And that increases to 13M at the deadline. Which is more then enough Cap space. So take that into consideration.

Sorry, guess it wasn't clear that I too was pointing out the poor work and unprofessional level of that blog. That was the first time I ever thought of Carter in a BOS jersey. What a terrible thought. I could really see him thriving there.

No you were clear! I completely got where you were coming from. I definitely think that Boston will make a move for a Forward, especially with Horton's situation. But I don't know if they'd be willing to make that big of a commitment.

I have grown a healthy amount of dislike for that BOS team. I understand the reluctance to take on that contract. But I don't think a team will regret it. Terrible year for him but he is worth under 6 in the right situation IMHO. I hope he goes out West so we don't have to play him to much.

I agree with you. A team that adds Carter in the right situation will be getting themselves a good player. I don't buy into any of the BS that he's a bad guy in the room or any of that nonsense. I even feel that if Columbus is patient. Carter will work out there also.
