No 3rd pairing dman will fix the defensive issues. The 1st two periods the Flyers were a mess and the 3rd they played well defensively I thought.

Even if they bring in a vet dman it's the dmen on the roster right now that need to tighten up as do the forwards.

Just get the damn puck out.

Yep. A trade will help with depth and stability, but he can't make decisions for the other 5 guys on the ice. Why can't everyone just play like kimmo, god.

He is a young puck moving dman that has a solid game.

reminds me of a young Lou Visnovski, I really think if given a shot he's going to be a solid offensive dman. he's not big but he does throw some hits and blocks some shots.

I know the Flyers need a bigger physical dman but Voynov is the type of young dman I think would be a great pick up for now and the future

As would I. I'd reluctantly give up a 1st for JJ but no way to JVR. I'd really like to land Voynov tho, everyone keeps talking about Schenn but I think Voynov is the guy they should be focusing on.

Do you see him as a replacement for carle if carle cannot be resigned? Or would he be a 3rd pairing guy for a year or 2? Just try to gauge where he is in development.

I like Gus and MAB, but if we can make it do only 1 has to play per game, that would really help out. Still think we need a crease clearing dman for the playoffs. Soon enough we will know what we have for the playoffs.

If I could add two dman to the Flyers that I think would be great fits and realistic targets (not Weber, Doughty etc) I would like to think that Regehr and Voynov would be exactly what the doctor ordered.

That said I thought Gus was pretty solid, I like that kid. I think he may be a top 6 dman down the road.

Yeah I like him too. For the playoffs this year I want experience, but down the road ican see him as a 3rd pairing guy. Size is the only downside, but his speed makes up for it.

Hard to believe MAB was in the ECHL late last season and now he's playing a regular shift for the Flyers.

If his skating was better and his decision making should get better he could be a 3rd pairing dman as well.

Sadly the Flyers can't expect to win the Cup with two question marks in the top 6 dmen.

Voynov is a guy id like to see. Heard he can shoot and is very solid in his own end. This trade deadline is going to be interesting

t would only be for picks and prospect because its a salary dump for the kings they are hard after carter

i also seen that if they made this deal for jj there still a chance they would trade for schenn too
