I love it. Someone gives a differing opinion and he goes 3rd grade on everyone, classic.

Sergei Bobrovsky will probably play between the pipes on Saturday.
Ilya Bryzgalov is still dealing with the flu and isn't expected to be ready for the Flyers' afternoon game. Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 27 shots in a 4-3 victory Thursday.

Ilya Bryzgalov (flu) didn't participate in Friday's practice.
Bryzgalov wasn't healthy enough to even serve as the backup goaltender on Thursday. He should be considered doubtful for Philadelphia's Saturday afternoon contest.

So does anyone think the Flyers will try and resign Jagr?
- stveshdy

If he continues to play well and the price is right. Probally after they add everyone they want, and if they still have money left over.

I do. He already said he loves it here and doesnt care about the money. Even if he gets dinged up once in a while he's great to have around for the youngins.

I do feel like someone is going to find themselves the odd man out with JVRs big raise next year. Hopefully the cap goes up enough tho to prevent that from being an issue.

@ puck. I framed the fan appreciation poster from 2009. Three out of the 6 guys on it are gone. Same for my framed 2010 SC print too.

Did you have to do training to be a "referee" ?

How do you even become a mod, just curious.

I don't know...maybe I'm noticing this at the end of shifts, but he seems to be laboring out there on occasion. Not extremely laboring, but it looks like he doesn't have his full stride.

The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water signifying by Divine Providence that she, bodiva88, was to carry Excalibur.

THAT is why she is your referee!

strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of refereeing. Supreme mod power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

My stance on that is that after the Flyers do whatever they need to do with regards to the future, if there is any money left over and Jagr is willing to play for that, then I'd resign him for another one year deal.

That's how I would like to see it play out. If he's up to it and the price is right - and there's a roster spot, of course - absolutely.
