In the same time frame the Sens have gone to the final and won the Presidents Trophy. As a fan of the Sens, I can say without a doubt and in the grand scheme of things, we haven't won anything.

So duh, back at you. What exactly have the Leafs won in that time frame when you can't even match those achievements? Beating us in a few playoff series? So, we haven't won anything so why would beating us mean anything?

Some of us Leafs fans though have actually paid attention for the past 40+ years and aren't about to start the chirping until the season is done.

In ONE short week, Ottawa could be a few points up on the Leafs again and the Leafs could be on the outside looking in again.

Philadelphia, Montreal... then Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver on a 3 games 4 nights run.

... this could get ugly for the Leafs in a big hurry.

Just a little friendly update, which I will continue to do until the end of the season.

As you know, Ottawa disrespected the game, and the Maple Leafs, throughout the all-star break.

Including, but not limited to: the incessant booing of a brave, young cancer survivor, and yelling
out "WADE BELAK" during the draft.

Of course, the universe always balances itself out. So how are the two teams doing since this display of disgusting disrespect?


Toronto: 3-1-1
Ottawa: 0-3-1

Toronto has risen to 7th, and Ottawa has fallen to 8th.
