Well... tonight, maybe me
I'm not sure if Nashville has a lady following for him like here in Ottawa, but at the same time, he was married to one of the most beautiful women on the planet when he got there. When he was here, he was single a long time and a gigantic chunk of the ladies here were well aware of it.

I took a video last season when the Preds sealed the series vs Anaheim with Legwand's empty-netter. I screamed so loud and so high. It was a beautiful moment.

There's a lot of female drooling going on here too; being married (either Fish or the droolees) doesn't appear to have an impact on that.

when his wife is in town the whole arena gets to drool

It happens to the best of us... not proud moments, but it happens.

less than 20 days to the deadline. Anyone getting nervous?
- Predsoda28

I'm not worried about the Preds because I do not think they are going to make any major moves. I am nervous however that Detroit is going to upgrade.

So I've been reading Hemsky to Nashville rumors....anyone else think this would be bad news bears.

Meanwhile...
110,000 in Michigan Stadium for an NHL hockey game. Wow! That will be incredible. I need haul my butt back up to A2.

How sick would it be if they played under the lights? I've never been there before but the puck is going to look pretty small from the nose bleeds.

Should break every outdoor game record thus far.

Hemsky's a good pickup if he can stay healthy.

It's a magnificent stadium. Watching Feetsieball was good there but that was a long time ago... The stadium has changed a lot since then.

But you're right - the puck will be very small. However, just the thought of being in that stadium and being part of history with 110k others watching a hockey game would be great in and of itself.

One other thing, it will be cold there. That's pretty much guaranteed.

The next time one of his own teammates tries to get cute with the puck around their own net, Rinne is probably going to clothesline said teammate. If you're on the penalty kill and you happen to get possession of the puck, you clear it down the ice as quickly as possible. Predators need to get out of their own way.

Boullion standing around for yet another goal allowed. Legwand in the box again for another stupid ass penalty. Frustrating to watch against a team that has lost 7 straight.

Not as bad as I think Carter to Nashville could be.

Losing to a team starting Alex Auld in goal is pretty terrible. Maybe the real Preds will show up on Saturday in Boston. Otherwise, they'll get rolled like a Philly blunt by the Bruins.

Carter was a victim on another man's crime. There is NOTHING wrong with him.

Spezza's first goal was a snipe.

I'd like to see our young players make quicker decisions with the puck in the d-zone when they are the last man back. The last couple of games they have turned it over which led to goals.

So we finally have a good powerplay and our penalty kill is average

I just don't see C'bus making a deal within our division.

Message to Mr. Kostitsyn:

Could you please play down low and act like you care the slightest about defense. Stop coasting around at the blue line waiting for the puck to somehow get to you when your mates are outnumbered 5-4 with no help from you. YOU ARE NOT PASHA BURE!

Sincerely,

Pred Nation
