JJ if you watched the (frank)ing game and shut your (frank)ing mouth, you would understand Hartnell slashed Dion after the goal. God damn man

Hartnell 2/3 of the way to a Gordie Howe on the same play...

I don't think Read has had a shift since he went off with what looked like an arm or shoulder injury. Don't think he's on the bench either.

Well, we should see him on this PK if he's not still hurt.

Talbot and Giroux were the forwards out on the PK. Looking at the ice time, he hasn't played since he went off.

Edit: Out there now.

Yeah, the PK didn't last long enough for the second pair to get out. I think you're right, I don't think he's been back on the ice.

With retirement of Owen Nolan only 20 active NHL players left in the league that have played at the Spectrum.

It's kind of wild how the NE division teams really play the Flyers like we're division rivals.

I'm sorry, I'm watching a fuzzy feed and I'm not sure I saw what I saw. Did Scott Hartnell tip-in a goal and then get into a fight right after? I didn't even know we scored until we started playing again, there was no celebration.

Hartnel might be my favorite player. Plays the game like it should be played and has some character/wit. What a play.

TOR lucky to not be down a few more here. G is snakebitten like a motherfer. They are keeping the good play going from the NYI game.

He kind of batted it out of the air and then fought right after.

Flyers great enforcers of yesteryear must just shake their heads in disgust watching the current guys get tuned up time and again.
- PLindbergh31

Players who have played the game in the past have respect for players who are willing to fight for their team and their teammates regardless of the outcome of the fight. The evidence of this is the bench tapping their sticks on the boards after the fight.

It was a baby tap not a slash - which was a response to the way Phaneuf finished Harts hard into the endboards earlier.

Phaneuf had it coming. Too bad Hartnell didn't get the better of him there but I bet they go at it again.

2/3 of the Gordie Howe hat trick in about 2 seconds.
