Pronger has never been diagnosed with a concussion. He only has concussion like symtoms.

- stveshdy

Then he just basically mislead the whole viewing audience about how Prongers LTIR works. Leaving out the fact that his salary goes back on the cap during the offseason.

Eddie Barkowitz with a great point about Flyers goalies all have names with B.

Burke was on the Fan590 today and they point blank asked him what was going on, any chatter etc

He said no, hardly a thing. Most teams still feel they are in it and will wait until its inevitable that they are done.

did he say anything about it always being his dream to make a trade with the flyers?

You could be right. I think tonight's game is very important. Have to get two points. The games this weekend appear to be a minefield to put it kindly.
- PLindbergh31

I can understand why winning tonight would be important when you have NYR and Detroit on back to back games over the weekend. Those are two very good teams.

I always get the away feed and I would venture to guess no less than 8-10 times this season alone I have heard the announcers say something along the lines of "it's shocking how quiet it is in here, never seen it like this in Philly"

I hate it

I won't it bloody chaos in there.

its all philly venues

was glad rollins mentioned it during the cardinals series

fixed.

You are probably correct. I hate shootouts, but I readily admit that I hate them with a passion because the Flyers piss so many points away not being able to win their share of them. I wonder how many people hated them after game 82 a few years ago? Probably not a ton of people going ape about shootouts then.

I was at Game 2 of the Cardinals series. And he's right, it was (frank)ing silent through the middle (and majority) of the game.

Not to mention a well rested Detroit team, who likely will have a 19 game home winning streak.

Perfect timing for that streak to be snapped.

That would be nice. They won't have Jimmy Howard so that's kinda big. Conklin or McDonald aren't great by any means.

I mentioned the other day that I think there is a good amount of fans who expect to lose at these games.

You think its possible the Flyers play Bryzgalov in both games over the weekend now that he is out tonight (if healthy of course)?

If he's healthy sure why not. The Flu though, so who knows. That zaps strength and energy. Depending how bad it is, it's possible he won't even dress either game. How bout Ba-Cash-Money stopping the Wings home streak?

Can't speak for Eagles fans, whenever I go to a Phils game I'm always confident they will win, and more often then not they do win. Flyers have struggled somewhat at home recently. I understand the apprehension there.

to me, its almost as if some would prefer it. they'd rather woe-is-me or b1tch about the team
