Bryz sucks at nhl 12 too
he just sucks

- Scottie Upshall

I blame Holmgren for not playing video games and checking Bryz' skills. Once again Flyers not doing their due diligence.

A thread full of bashing the Philly media...

Hilarious that everyone has the option to ignore the articles, tweets etc.., but prefer to read the crap they put out and piss and moan about it.

I think I have things figured out:

Flyers are the worst shootout team in the NHL due to Carchidi
Flyers are non competitive at home due to Panaccio
Flyers can't beat the Rags and Bruins due to Seravalli

- PLindbergh31

The Flyers have a winning record at home. How are they non competitive at home?

Pierre Lebrun reporting that the Canes have taken Tuomo Ruutu off the table, and that Rutherford is going to try and sign him long term.

I have a feeling the trade deadline is going to be kinda boring, there doesn't appear to be many sellers. Maybe that will change in the next two weeks.

the home record thing really bothers me.

12 wins at home and 13 loses really is bad. For a top 10 NHL team which I believe the Flyers are they should be much better at home.

Great road team which is awesome, but more loses than wins at home is bad.

I don't mind them for OT but I despise them for SO's. I want the SO gone. to get an extra point for skills competition is just sickening for a team sport. But yeah, it aint goin away. a playoff race that keeps 90% of the teams involved into Mid March is what the league wants

I wouldn't say non competitive, but they certainly struggle more than a team of their caliber should at home. Carolina nearly has a winning record at home. Good teams generally have a winning record at home. Great teams dominate on their home ice.

I can't understand it for the life of me. It makes no sense. Dating back to last year they have lost 28 of the last 45 home games. Next three games will be very interesting. Leafs have been playing well, Rangers enough said there, and the Wings could be going for 20 straight home wins Sunday. (Without Jimmy Howard)

it really is odd.

For some reason I just always think they should be great at home, it just seems they play like a different team at home.

I think we all despise the shootout slightly more because of the Flyers propensity to lose so many of them, if they were better at them human nature would make us despise them less. But I do agree, it's a terrible way to decide a game, a glorified skills competition.

I agree, they need to play better at home, and get that record better. But to say that they are non competitive at home, is simply inaccurate.

When you play on the road you dont have to worry about impressing the fans and making bad hockey decisions. On the road you just relax and play your game. Just tryinig to think of some reason.

I agree. Nabokov is a poopty goalie and they couldn't score on him. I blame that poopty goalie.
