I only follow a couple folks from the local media, a handful of national media, and a smattering of folks on this board, so I don't see much of that. I do, however, get plenty of FakePanotch
- BulliesPhan87

I proposed a trade on Twitter today: trading Fake Panotch and a cheesesteak to Toronto for Fake Dion Phaneuf, Down Goes Brown, and former HB mod Ron Guillet.

Ron responded that the cheesesteak has a NMC.

Pierre Lebrun reporting that the Canes have taken Tuomo Ruutu off the table, and that Rutherford is going to try and sign him long term.

I have a feeling the trade deadline is going to be kinda boring, there doesn't appear to be many sellers. Maybe that will change in the next two weeks.

Burke was on the Fan590 today and they point blank asked him what was going on, any chatter etc

He said no, hardly a thing. Most teams still feel they are in it and will wait until its inevitable that they are done.

Wait a minute. Following them on Twitter helps their cause? Not getting the picture there. I can see if I visited their "articles" on CSNphilly.com, philly.com, Camden Communist Courier Post.com, etc. but Twitter?
- Flyskippy

Number of followers is the closest equivalent there is to web hits Twitter has. I'm not legitimizing them by being counted as a reader.

Yup. Burke seems like a pretty straight shooter as well. I thought for sure the Ducks would be a seller, but Alfred Hitchcock has righted the ship.

If the cheesesteak is from Pat's or Geno's that would be a heist.

Perfectly stated. You said it better than I could. And I agree it sucks that they have the most access, but nothing we can do about it. At least we have a daily blog from Bill.

Holy smokes. Has anyone seen the video from Denver, where a rescued mastiff/pitbull mix was rescued from an icy river? It was then taken to a newsroom where it bit the face of a news anchor live on air. WOW..

Would you guys do Schenn + Crabb for JVR + 2nd. At least that gives us a solid, gritty forward to soften the blow. It will give our 4th line a little more pop as well.

Hartnell-Giroux-Jagr
Schenn-Briere-Simmonds
Read-Talbot-Voracek
Sestito-Couturier-Crabb

Timonen-Coburn
Carle-Schenn
Mezz-Gust

- Just5

Do you really think that a 28 year old depth forward is enough to sweeten the pot? Plus were giving them a 2nd?

Just read the news story on the incident. News anchor needed reconstructive surgery on her mouth. The good thing is the dog will be checked for rabies, and then returned to it's owner. The woman was foolish for putting her face that close to the dog's face.

Today? It doesn't appear to be. I think teams will wait as close to the deadline as possible.

A thread full of bashing the Philly media...

Hilarious that everyone has the option to ignore the articles, tweets etc.., but prefer to read the crap they put out and piss and moan about it.

I think I have things figured out:

Flyers are the worst shootout team in the NHL due to Carchidi
Flyers are non competitive at home due to Panaccio
Flyers can't beat the Rags and Bruins due to Seravalli
