Would you guys do Schenn + Crabb for JVR + 2nd. At least that gives us a solid, gritty forward to soften the blow. It will give our 4th line a little more pop as well.

Hartnell-Giroux-Jagr
Schenn-Briere-Simmonds
Read-Talbot-Voracek
Sestito-Couturier-Crabb

Timonen-Coburn
Carle-Schenn
Mezz-Gust

Those movies really do suck. I cannot figure out for the life of me what is so great about them. My wife is a big fan so yes i have seen the first three. The story is nothing more than a preteen vampire book. Even in the one flick where the vampires actually fight the werewolves it was so (frank)ing lame. THen the two dudes arguing like women over bella in the tent. I almost went home and used a powerdrill to make myself the modern day Helen Keller after watching that puke. Okay I'm done.

I too have been subjected to Twlight Torture. But everytime she makes me watch it, I follow it up with a 6 movie star wars marathon, followed by a 8 movie Harry Potter Marathon, Followed by a 6 disc LOTR extended edition marathon, followed by Shawshank Redemption and Forest Gump... It takes a few months, but by then, the ICK is out of my head....

He is a below average 3rd liner, and an above average 4th liner. Isnt huge but plays bigger than he is.. Like a less intimidating and a bit more skilled sestito i guess.

Either way.. JvR and a 2nd for Schenn and a 28 yearold 4th line isnt a good move IMO.

If hes sick and not feeling well why play that goalie? I rather have a healthy Bob in net tonight. He had plenty of time to get ready for tonights game so there is no excuse. If we lose tonight it will be on the team not just Bryz or Bob.

The man is currently at Harborview Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition. He will not be charged with a crime, as cutting your own arm off is apparently not illegal.

A thread full of bashing the Philly media...

Hilarious that everyone has the option to ignore the articles, tweets etc.., but prefer to read the crap they put out and piss and moan about it.

I think I have things figured out:

Flyers are the worst shootout team in the NHL due to Carchidi
Flyers are non competitive at home due to Panaccio
Flyers can't beat the Rags and Bruins due to Seravalli

I like Crabb. Mostly because of his name. I'm not advocating trading JVR, but if they do I want an NHL forward back too.

It's not very feasible that GM's will trade for JVR this year.

A. He's still having concussion symptoms
B. He probably needs some sort of core surgery

Flyers would be foolish to trade him while his value is this low anyway.

Here is what I would suggest (if someone held a gun to my head and told me to trade JvR and make it work for both teams).

Phi gets: Luke Schenn, Clarke MacArthur, 2nd

Tor gets: JvR, Gusty, 3rd

dont know if Toronto would go for it, but thats what it would take for me...

I just don't understand. Everyone knows what their motives are, and that they provide zero well informed hockey information. Every hit they get, helps keep them employed.

Those Flames teams were fun. I was really happy to see Lanny Mcdonald win that Cup in '89. He's one of my favorite players of all time.

I actually found myself rooting for the Giants last Sunday (lesser of two evils I guess), and I still feel slimy about it.

Congrats on the big win.
