three observations about the game so far:
1) Khabibulin gave us a poop effort on that PK. Our team was showing a lot of fire for that dribbler to go in.
2) Our PP looked BRUTAL on that 2 man adv. What's with the "half-Gretzky" (two guys behind the net)? Not easy to cycle if the guys stand at the end-boards. Not a fan of whatever that "strategy" was.
3) Taylor Hall is a beast and if anyone other than Belanger had been there to nab that rebound its 1-1 right now. |

Sutton to the Hawks. I know you guys are negative on Sutton but you must understand that the HAwks have ZERO physical D man, the Hawks get pushed around every single night. - mrpaulish
Think most fans like Sutton |

I would hate to see Oilers give up so many prospects for any of those two players,if the Oilers want any of those two players and are available as a free agents then Oilers should just show the cash...

Who's wearin the C ? Yes that does mean something!! - jaredwildzee
So what your saying Horcoff is a better player than say Jordan Eberle or sam Gagner?
Weber if you watch him his play dips when he is not playing with Suter.
He has 6 more points than Suter thats it. Weber has had the benifit of playing with Suter. Watch his play dip when Suter leaves. |

Responding to your number 2 observation report; I agreed PP brutal and that 2 guts behind the net works only when the Nugde is one of those players.

Weber is a beast who owns people. I watched him in the playoffs last year and he is without a doubt the best player on the Preds.
Just pure blue chip, do-it-all stud on the blueline.
Suter... while he's a great defensman too, isnt of the same ilk.

Gagner: Amazing little recovery to score after he almost lost control taking the pass and spinning. Kid is confident right now.

Unbelivable what Renney does on 4 on 4,he puts to slow forwards Ryan S and Horcoff, wow I think that puck to the head actually did some bigger damage |

We looked like we were gonna get smoked early in the 2nd period, but we amped up the physical and Hall amped up the crazy. He's looked wild tonight.
Don't exactly know if the Holmstrom deal was a penalty, but I'll take it...moot point anyway |

Everyones play drops off slightly when theyre taken away from their linemate that theyre accustomed to playing with day in and day out. Especially when its a world class talent. Neither Weber nor Suter are exception to this. |

Why would the Wings want a backup that's more expensive than their starter for next season? Holland would be stupid to trade for both those guys let alone give up anything on top of it. |

Corey Potter isn't that good at the whole "own zone" thing is he? Seems to be caught flat footed or on the outside a lot. |
