Edmontons not getting the top pick Columbus is... But a great trade for them is there top 5 pick to Nashville for Colin Wilson and Ryan Ellis... Thats a trade that would be great for Edmonton. PP QB for years and a solid 2nd line center... Then you can deal Hemsky and Gagner (Keep Smyth) then sign UFA d men like Boychuck and Grossman... I think Ellis can run your power play for years and your defense isnt as bad as you think if you sign a guy like Boychuck. Then let your team develop, you will be a mostly offensive team but id say getting colin wilson and ellis would help your team a ton.. .and Myers is a pipe dream that only happens if you get one of the top 2 picks. And if so i would hold on to Grigs as your # 2 center.... Honestly just Ryan Ellis or Pk Subban seem like perfect fits for Edmonton and then sign and develop shutdown d men, as your depth on defense is not that bad you just lack a power play guy.

Don't agreed with Oilers needing to get a Ellis,Oilers got a Fedun coming and others,if the Oilers want a D go for Subban....and yeah Oilers don't need to trade Gagner.

Sutton to the Hawks. I know you guys are negative on Sutton but you must understand that the HAwks have ZERO physical D man, the Hawks get pushed around every single night.

Shea Weber is the best defenseman in the NHL, Ryan Suter is one of the best, and Sheldon Souray is still better than everyone on the Oilers, except for maybe Whitney. I'm so stupid to like those players and to want them to play for us. You're right, Gernat and Marincin are waaaaaaaayyyy better than those guys
