He was suppose to be in the AHL this year. He showed up in camp pretty much the same size as he was when he played the year before. He struggled in training camp against men so they elected to send him back to Prince George, which was the smart move.

Just because a guy can man handle boys doesn't mean he is ready to play against men.

I think our future on defense is very bright. Klefbom, Musil, Simpson, Gernat, Marincin, Blain, Davidson, Bigos, Plante, Teubert. Of course nothing is a given but things arent as bleak as some would make things out to be for us

We have guys that can probably make an impact on the bottom pairing in a physical role, but other than that not much. Petry I guess is the other wild card. Who knows what his top end is now. Still think we need to go out and make a trade for someone that is younger and somewhat proven.

Plante is going to surprise all of you.

No one on D is going to make an impact in the next couple of years unless a miracle occurs and Marincin fills out, or Klefbom comes over and has his poop figured out. Tambellini needs to move some of the poopload and get proven talent on D.

Klefbom might not even be in NA next year. Musil could be back in Junior.

Btw Taylor Fedun was going to make the Oilers Team this Season,I think he was going to be the Biggest Surprise alone with the Nugde,if Fedun gets Healthy next year before Training camp and keeps playing the way He was before his injury then I can see him playing for the Oilers before even KlefBOM or Musil...
