If they're moving Johnson, it's unlikely that they move Greene, too.

It's interesting, if they trade for Johnson, what is the cost? Is it just picks/prospects? More likely a pick and a roster guy at least, or a good roster guy like JvR or Voracek.

If they add Johnson, do they move Carle before the season ends? I'd be surprised if they add Johnson and Carle re-signs. If they put Carle on the table, can they get a guy like Boychuk? Or do they try to land a forward for Carle ?

I know who wont be getting traded at the deadline, Ilya Bryzgalov. Guy is a monster in the last few weeks. His numbers dont like as he is getting much better.

The first place I saw anyone mention it was Dennis Bernstein of TFP suggesting a JvR for JJ swap, right after Pronger got hurt.

There's a few rumor guys that have kept the fire warm since. Of course there's guys still milking JvR for Schenn.

JvR being hurt may slow that process down. Nobody knows when he will be out on the ice playing in games again. If he wasnt injured you would think Burke would be offering legit deals.

I didnt hear about all that. The rumor I read had JvR & Read for Schenn (and thats it). I dont think my 2 year old daughter would make that deal.

Voracek is better than both combined he's staying JVARGH fakes injuries he can shove off

He is a young talented kid. He may not be the best defenseman in the league but he will get better. Contract, Age, Potential, Need, its something the Flyers should seriously consider if the asking price is right.

What about Flyers fans makes you think getting a young defenseman that will get better is the way they'll want to go? They still think Carle is the same player he was when he got here. Every player stays in their minds as he was when he arrived.

I kind of wish we could keep the mid-career defensemen we've already been through growing pains with (Carle and Coby). Keep the young guys who's growing pains will be at least our own guys growing pains (Gusty and MAB). Keep the guy who needed a change of scenery (Meszaros) and find someone to replace the fully mature player we sadly will likely not see again (Pronger). But do you do that now? Or when Timmo's deal is up?

If your asking me who I would trade out of the 3, it's Voracek. But I have no idea how Holmgren feels towards that. I guess we'll find out.
