definitly agree. good trade proposal - SPIbanez
Hodgson represents a possible replacement down the road for Parise, but if the Devils want to deal with Vancouver, Schneider is the guy they should be after. |

The number being floated around for Grabo to sign on is 5 mill per. Are you still interested in that number? - Lohaus
yup buy no higher. $4.75 for 4 years would be good for everybody, give or take a couple hundred K |

Grabo is a BEAST. He needs to be RESIGNED to at least 3 years max. Only thing our team is in NEED of is a TOP 1st line centerman. I wanna see paul stasny come to toronto..
To Toronto: Paul stasny
To Colorado: Kadri, Armdog, Gunner and a late pick 2012. - Mapleleafs_91
So let me get this straight.. a young guy that they keep trying to let play in the NHL but continues to get demoted in Kadri...
Armstrong who is injury prone and has maxed out at 40 pts twice in his career..
Gunner a defensemen who has maxed out at 20 points in a year
and a 1st gets Stastny now!!??
Sabres then offer.. Luke Adam, Jochen Hecht, Sekera, and a 1st |

for whatever reason it sounds like the top part your trying to say parise, and for whatever reason you say suter doesnt want to be a distraction so you wont talk about him, and what makes him any different than parise? parise has said he doesnt want to be a distraction either
oh and BTW Lou said that he isnt going to trade parise especially when the devils are in the playoff race
so unless the devils somehow fall apart between now and the deadline then there is no chance in parise being moved, so no need to bring it up
and devils in on ruutu? really, because they are pretty set when zajac comes back - dmarsden2988
Eklund loves Nashville. Just so you know, he basically saved the team.

Would you worry about the impact signing him to that deal would have on next year's negotiations with Lupul? I'm not looking up finances as you'd probably know off hand, but that'd be three hefty contracts up front. Any issue with that? |

but......... therefore he is a top 3 player, don't contradict yourself |

kessel is gunna get like 70-80 pts this year, thats different and hes a multiple 30 goal scorer + - Mapleleafs_91
this is the first year Kessel's even threateded to crack 70 pts.
Grabo put up 29G last season, and he's likely going to pass 30 this year if he finishes strong, and he's been hot lately, and he's a hell of a lot better defensively.
Trust me, the number will approach $5M. He'd get more as a UFA. |

Hodgson represents a possible replacement down the road for Parise, but if the Devils want to deal with Vancouver, Schneider is the guy they should be after. - Urethra Franklin
valid point... brodeur is on a fast track to retirement. you'd have to think schneider is ready for #1 status. you'd also have to think that if that dumb*** Gillis hadn't of given luongo a 743 year contract that they would have already traded him and given the reins to schneider!

I don't think Leafs need to do anything major, I would like to see them pick up a little depth and experience in the forward position, I think a good target would be Jamie Langenbrunner in St.Louis if we can get him. |

grabo wants to stay in TO, i'd say the number will be 4.5 to 4.75 mil range. He's got amazing chemistry with kulemin and macarthur, why would he want to ruin that

Yup, the Leafs have to have Lupul in the back of their minds when dealing with Grabovski. Grabbo's agent has said a couple of times that Mikhail wants to stay in Toronto and JM Liles already took a discount to re-up long term here, but I think Grabovski would be foolish not to at least explore what free agency has to offer.
Outside of Parise, he's arguably the best forward available and only one team is going to sign Zach. Being the next best thing for some time means that Grabovski can expect a lot of money this offseason and money that the Leafs likely can't afford to offer him.

I think you completely miss the importance of each of those.
Gunnar is a top pairing defensively responsible D on the leafs. He is not a points getter.
Same thing with Armstrong, he is an agitator. He draws a ton of penalties, and helps the team tremendously.
If we weren't loaded up with wingers all making 3M+ on the top 2 lines, Kadri would easily be in the line-up.
Unfortunately, Burke can't justify sitting guys like Mac, Kuli, Lupul, Kessel, Grabo, etc.. when KAdri has a 2-way contract and can get top line minutes in the AHL.
Now, onto your offer. Let's use your logic shall we?
Luke Adam - has only had 24 points so far in his career.
Jochen Hecht - Concussion? (i assume this is because of cap)
Sekera - only 29 points??
(I actually don't feel this way at all, just showing how bad ur logic is)
And why the hell would you offer up a potential lottery pick in your 1st rounder???
Jeeze... I mean.. come on |

Lupul's already making close to that. But if he has another PPG year, then no.
With expiring contracts - Lombardi and Connolly, they will have plenty of room for Lupul.

they def need someone to replace brodeur, and no way is wedgewood ready for the big league by next year - matt1337
brodeur said he is leaning on returning for next season and the way he has played lately he has shown he is still capable especially with the D in front of him and now missing larsson and talinder
the supposed plan is to go for harding gustavsson or a UFA |
