I REPEAT... The Sabres traded Macarthur to ATL for a 3rd and a 4rd rounder when the Sabres got Raffi Torres... After MaCarthur played out the remaining part of his contract with ATL.. THEY did not offer him arbitration and THEY let him go..
Then the Maple Leafs signed him..
