The Flyers took a couple of young defenseman in, in Meszaros and Carle who were having down years, and they turned it around with the Flyers.

i'd say otherwise

Not to mention Coburn, who was still struggling to crack Atlanta's NHL lineup on a regular basis.
- bmeltzer

I still can't believe we got him for zhitnik. Goes to show some players work better in certain systems.

I think Drew doughty would be what this team needs for this season and the future. LA is hard up for scoring. Maybe they could work out a deal that could center around those two
- Deasr1

if they trade a dman it will be JJ they need doughty for the future and it would cost us a kings ransom to get him

There's no way LA trades Doughty.

Both guys had previous success. I take bills point on coburn. If the px is right I do the deal.

Maybe a true hockey mkt could be beneficial?

Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and then it will never be used to hurt you.

Stupid trade by Atlanta but what else is new, now that they don't even a team. I think that had more to do with the relationship between Coburn and the coach Bob Hartley. I don't think he knew how to use Coburn. Coburn steps into our line up and he's been great ever since.

I brewed a batch of beer last spring, I called it Dubbel Trouble.
It was a Belgian style ale, like Chimay.
The keg was tapped on 6/23, the day Frick and Frack were traded.

Coincidence? I think not.
