Better us than Vancouver. The Canucks played that once when I was watching on Center Ice. Unless they did that because Rockychocbill was in attendance?

I loved your "Dancing Guy" assessment, too. Let him be the in-game personality, etc. and that's it.

He didn't dance Saturday, which was a blessing.

Ugly stat:

BroadStBull Sam Carchidi
In last two games, opponents have blocked 49 shots, while #Flyers have blocked 14.

Terrible, terrible weekend for the Flyers.

so what your saying is, the Flyers can't beat the Rags even on an average day for Hank?

- ggunky

What im saying is the Flyers will have to make the most of their opportunities. They didnt play well defensively and the goaltending was bad after the Gaborik goal and yet the Flyers were in the game.

As good as Lundqvist is I thought he was very beatable in yesterdays game. The Flyers missed mulitple opportunities to capatalize on it.

If he can come back and be half the player he was in the Boston series, then he will be like a TDL pick up on his own. I hope he can get back to where he was.
- funmaster18

and if we trade him hopefully we can get some idiot like burke to over pay for him and fill in our holes

That stat is two-fold.

Blocked shots are good, but only when needed. When used effectively, they counter scoring chances.

However, on the flip side, if you're blocking a lot of shots, that means you're spending way too much time in your own zone without the puck. Not a good thing.

What do you guys think about trading for Joni Pitkanen? hes out right now but maybe we could get him for cheap and he should be back healthy and well rested for the playoffs
- Jack-Meoff

If we turn JVR into something that helps our team, I'm all for it. Let's just hope it's the other team that over pays if we make any moves.

Hard to argue. The Flyers record says otherwise though. The problem that I see is when the playoffs come around the games get tougher and your defense has to be better.
