Yes, but when Bryz is saying it, it's throwing them under the bus. The goalie has little confidence in the D and vice versa. They need to go to Banff and do some Hitchcockesque trusting exercises. - Flyskippy

Yes, but he was a few feet ahead of both Rangers you are mentioning. It didn't look to me that he was playing a potential 2 on 1. - Flyer_Nation71
He saw that Couturier was back checking and was responsible for Del Zotto. MAB was concerned with not letting a pass get through to the far side, which was his man. Could he have spun around and faced both Rangers like a true 2 on 1, maybe. But he was also in good position to clear away any rebound of which there should have been one on that play imo. |

Im watching one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL. Coach Reid is going to do everything in his power to take this team to the championship. The owner believes in him, thats why he still has a head coaching job in Philly. - stveshdy
best coaching staff that went 8-8 after goin All In... no i'm sorry this was the final straw with me.... injuries BA tell that to last years packers who were killed by injuries and won it all... and if he was doin everything in his power he would have drafted a LB or he would have drafted a really good saftey a couple of years ago.. instead of Graham... how can u say Juan is a good DC.... the four wins at the end of the season are a joke and if u think that they were legit then im sorry cause it was fools gold 4-8 with that team is unacceptable |

Speaking of +/- that wonderfully, improving, consistent Carle is a - player on the season. He's right in the Norris discussion without question. - PLindbergh31
Yep, because that is exactly what he meant when he said Carle was having a good season. Bang on!

After the game, the fans at Madison Square Garden cockily chanted "you can't beat us" at the Flyers. That's a bit premature, considering the fact that the Rangers haven't gotten through two rounds of playoffs since 1997
haha i hadn't even noticed that bill mentioned this in the blog...
this is exactly what i was angrily grumbling at the a-holes around me. the people behind me actually shut up |

let them chant it now in the regular season, playoffs are a whole different story... same crowd who started can u hear us 2 years to Bruce douchbreau up 3-0 only to blow it and lose in overtime.... |

there is no debate, imo
but Eli is a very good qb.. and has more rings.. cant deny that - Crimsoninja
They were talking this morning about how Peyton struggled in the 4th Q in big games. Always had trouble getting over Tennessee in college. The SB against the Saints too, although they said the pick in that game could also be pinned on Reggie Wayne. For Eli to have come through as many meaningful games as he did at the end of this season says a lot to me. I also think he will come close to Peyton stats wise except for maybe TD's. |

Juans schemes are very difficult and he was asking too much from his players early on. He scaled it back some and thats why the defense was much better at the end of the season. The Eagles had a great draft last year (Watkins, Jarett, and Matthews) all players who contributed to the team. Losing Vick for four games hurt this team and adjusting to a new system takes time. The Eagles are primed for an outstanding year. Graham will be back next year causing havic on the field. Dont let this last year fool you, deep down inside you know this team is set up for a title run. |

it's funny, to me, that people are all upset over Sestito pulling hair in a fight...they were trying to punch each other in the face! No one has a problem with that? The older I get the silly hockey fights seem. |

At the very least if I'm trying to take any positive from yesterday's game it that Sestito should get the nod over Shelly from now on. If he can keep himself from getting thrown out of games he's a great guy to have on the 4th line in my opinion. Guy hits everything. |

while accurate, the Flyers also couldn't beat Montreal a few seasons ago until the playoffs. time will tell. |

It's Sestito's hand, against black hair, black glove, and black pants. It could be just a follow through from a punch to the chops that has Prust's face in agony. I haven't read anything about hair pulling. |

The Eagles system is complexed and usually takes time for rookies to step in and play right away. |
