I will say Rolston looked pretty good up in the box with Snow. - kasperrko
Hopefully they leave him up there for the remainder of the season. |

Anthony Stewart (CAR) was placed on waivers today. He'd be a nice pick up. Big body (6'3 230). Throw him on the 3rd or 4th line. Hmmmmmm |

I doubt it will happen as well but this would be a smart move IMO. He's signed through next year for under 1MM. Right up Wang's alley! |

As much as I like seeing Rolston out of the line up and the kids playing, Rakshani looks so small on the ice and I could see him being sent down real soon. Throw him there with Martin and Bailey. Nice grinder line. |

Why not? I'd rather cut Rolston and/or Pandolfo and take on Stewart at one more year at $900K. There's no reason not to cut Rolston. All the conventional wisdom says to do it. Rolston has been one of the worst forwards on the team this year (he's neck and neck with Reasoner for that coveted title), he is 38 years old and won't be back next year anyway, since his deal expires in June. His huge cap number also won't come off the books if he's cut since he over 35. They should cut him anyway, no question they should do it to make room for Stewart. At least Stewart you may catch lightning in a bottle. With Rolston, all you have is a brown paper bag full of s**t. |

of all the crapy signings this season he is the better of the group... but that still doesn't mean he should have been signed in the first place. has he played well... yes he has... but others could have used his ice time.

What's not to understand? He's -10 and has two fewer goals and four fewer points than offensively inept Zenon Konopka. Heck, he has one fewer goal and three fewer points than David Ullstrom, who's played less than half as many games. Yes, Pandolfo tries and is willing to sacrifice his body, and that's admirable...it puts him several notches ahead of Rolston in my book. But he has very, very little left to offer, and the Isles have better options even now. |

He's a bad player. He also is taking up a roster space that fans would rather see go to a much better player. I don't hate Pandolfo being on the team, but just because he blocks a shot now and then and kills penalties doesn't make Pandolfo great contributor. The team would have been better off signing a better player than Pandolfo this past summer. |

I guess I just see him as invisible out there. He doesn't hurt the team or help it. I would have loved to have ZK back, but such as life. I just feel like people who crap on him expected him to do more than he has but history has shown him not to. Also I just seem him as so low on the list of priorities on this team. Just my view. |

I don't think people point to Pandolfo as reason number one why the Isles are hanging on by a fingernail once again this year. But he is usually mentioned as one among a series of useless "veterans" that were acquired this offseason...which is true. Even worse, he was added after they had already traded for and signed the other guys, so the purpose of that signing was...puzzling. |
