I had no idea what photo to put with this, but it's just a little rant.

When you come up with an idea for a blog... write it down, let it sit for at least 12 hours, when you pick it up.. if you still feel it should be written, then ask 2 male hockey fans what they think (not related to you in any way) If they agree... Then write away.

It would probably have more information.

You are probably correct. The summers around here are brutal with no Bruno Gervais I dont know who she is going to write about. Plus she has not had many interviews since Bruno left he was the only guy she would interview

Yeah I hear you. She should not have written this article at all. There was really no reason for it

At least she got this part:

10:17 am: It seems that Aaron Ness is the call-up from BPort on emergency basisic due to the injuries to both Milan Jurcina and Travis Hamonic. Welcome to the NHL Aaron.

That's the basisic point

I read this morning two weeks with a broken nose. That is really going to hurt the Islanders. I want 500 so bad but I dont know
- kasperrko

NHL Channel first reported that TH had surgery to repair a broken nose. They later changed that to Facial Surgery! I know the nose is part of the face. But maybe its a bit more serious than simply a broken nose. Two weeks is a long time to be out with a broken nose. Maybe there is a broken cheek or orbital bone also. Just speculation on my part. I just hope TH is resting comfortably and returns soon.

That was a nasty shot he took, scary stuff. Orpik had a broken orbital bone and he was out for awhile, hopefully this is just a nose.

Me to. I've heard so many conflicting reports on this kid since we drafted him.

I did like the way he skated and handled the puck during those two rookie games during the summer. And recently Snow mentioned that he is progressing very nicely during his interview with Bettmen.

It should be interesting. I just hate that it comes at TH's expense.

The last time this happened was Jack Hillen and he never got back to the level he was playing. If that happens with Hamonic I will throw up.

Yea, and I really feel bad for him. He loses a front tooth a few weeks ago and now this. I hate messing with the face.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ness. I assume DeHaan is still injured?

Once again I tortured myself reading this blog. What the hell does this have to do with the Islanders??? I will give you a hint NOTHING!! Who cares about commercials or anything else. Lets try to figure out who is going to come up for Hamonic for a few weeks. Donovan, Wishart or Ness??
- kasperrko

As soon as I read the title, I knew to skip the blog and go straight to the comment section. Who gives a s**t about where some stupid contest or commercials or some town's designation? Does it really matter? The Isles are in a dogfight for their season right now, without arguably their best d-man and coming off points in three straight following the ASG. That should be the topic, not some contest or promotion unrelated to the Isles.

Yeah DeHaan is still out for a while so this is a chance to see what Ness can do. Hopefully he can help us out
