Could he do it without the twins,kes,edler,hammer,juice,etc...? - I-own_da-Northwest
Are you suggesting that Nash would be a 50 goal scorer with the Twins? |

Didn't you hear? Nash is Anson Carter's brother. |

I'd take Morrow over Nash as a fit on this team. - Scooby_Doo
He'd cost a lot less you'd think. Morrow would be a great addition. I wonder what the asking price is. |

It's easy for a one man show to put up points on a terrible team. Nash's North/South puckhoggin' skillset wouldn't fit with the twins, but he'd look right at home alongside Booth & Kesler... Nobody needs a $7.8 million dollar 2nd line RW. |

So you're saying he wouldn't put up better numbers on the Canucks......? Really?

So you're saying the Canucks would score more goals per game with Nash and his $7.8 million playing on the 2nd line, making it impossible to have any depth on this team? Really?
We're already one of the top scoring teams in the NHL 2 years running. We're certainly not lacking what he offers.

No doubt, not to mention he's signed til the 2018-2019 season. Imagine what that would to our cap situation when we got the twins-kes-juice-hammer and lets not forget about bobby lou's contract. If we go through with that and lose the cup this year we are pretty much guaranteed to not win for the next 10 years.

Talking with some Buffalo fans, would you do McNabb and Ennis for Coho? |

No. Schroeder will be an Ennis type player. |

I'm suggesting that he would be minimally. I'm also suggesting that Burrows wouldn't be a 50 POINT scorer without him. |

In November Vancouver had 54% of the corsi events and 58% in December.
In January it fell to 46% and so far in February it's even worse.
Vancouver's is winning but has playing very poorly for weeks now. If they keep this up, it's only a matter of time before they start losing, alot.
Something's up with the Sedins. Now that they went to the all-star game, they will have travelled across 3 time zones 10 times before the end of the year. Players on Boston, NJ, NYI, Fla, etc will have done it twice. Inequities in travel are often hard to overcome. - K-Bomb
We certainly don't need those 'stupid' figures (Corsi) to tell us what we already know. |

Malone,Perry,Nash,Carter?
All BS, seeing as how we are talking about positions we don't really need how about Coho-Shneids and a 1st for Carey Price
Anyone else notice the fact that we need defense, BADLY.
Not to mention the fact that we would have to ship Ballard out for one of these forwards, thus putting us further in the hole. Anyone remember what happened in the SCF when we lost Hamhuis?
Come on people......
- Whiskey-Tango
I'm going to disagree with you because I'm bored.
I think a defensive minded, puck controlling forward can be just as effective as a 4/5/6 defenseman. I don't like any of the 'available' defensemen people are talking about. But there may be some quality forwards (with big contracts mind you) available. I think it is, at least, worth talking about. |
