78% say build steady and don't take a risk. Of course 20% more probably would fall into tgis group if it was their own money to lose. Makes sense, and that's why over 3 out of four of you are life long nobody's. You see, it doesn't take hard work and risks to be mediocre. That leaves the 2% of risk takers willing to gamble it all to win. And of that 2% only a few will actually make it. So I guess that makes everybody else a loser. Appears this fits the macro mold to a tee.

relax man were not talking about life here were talking about building a hockey team... imagine if chicago could have kept Byfuglien Ladd Brouwer Eager Versteeg Niemi... They would have won the cup last year again.

It's 2 hours before kickoff and the pre-game show is BLASTING in the stadium. The reason people go to games is they don't want to HEAR this

My top 4 matchups to watch today.

Giants receivers vs Pats secondary.

The Pats need to find a way to get pressure on Manning, or else there is no way they can cover those guys.

Giants D-line vs Pats O-line

If the Giants D is able to get to Brady early, the game could be decided by halftime.

Gronkowski vs Anyone they think can cover him.

Gronk will need to come up big despite his injury. If nothing else, he will have to make several catches early in order to establish himself, than he can become more of a decoy/

Bellichek vs Coughlin

The one thing the Pats really have going for them is Coach B. Here's a guy who's defensive game plan against the Bills is in the Hall of fame. I think he might try to get the Gmen to run the ball, as he did against Buffalo years ago. This guy has had 2 weeks to prepare for this team, and also has the motivation of 4 years ago on his side.

Enjoy the game everyone.

What about Luongo for Nash?

I would keep Schneider if I was VAN.

ur on crack... Nash is worth schneider and raymond and vancouvers 1st. Your adding their first and a great propsect... yeah okay...
- Bar-South

Regardless of what Nash's value may be, Schneider was a 1st rounder by vancouver, so obviously another 1st rounder is just for starters. Schneider is probably the most highly regarded not-quite-starter in the league and Vancouver has made a large investment in his development and they have done a great job with him. Franchise goaltenders happen 2-4 times per generation, and there is every indication that Schneider could become one.
Nash probably qualifies as a franchise forward (I don't get to see much of the Eastern Conference teams and I have no interest in the Blue Jackets unless they're playing Edmonton tonight) but I submit to you that there are 10-20 franchise forwards per generation (obviously there's one Gretzky and one Crosby, but there are many Datsyuks and Nashs (Nashes?) and Parises and Sedins).
Whatever you think Nash is worth, the Canucks would probably not make a straight-up Nash-for-Schneider (I know I wouldn't). Put simply, I believe Schneider will win a great many more games for his team in his career than Nash.
On the other hand, if I was Schneider I'd want out of Vancouver. Get me out from behind Lou so I can have my own team like a big boy already! Eddie Lack looks to be roughly what Cory Schneider was four years ago.

I totally agree. I'd do Lou for Nash and, say, a second round pick? I value Luongo over Nash because having one of the 10 best goalies in the league will win you more games than having one of the 10 best forwards in the league (provided you can play D worth a damn). Also because Vancouver is under no pressure to make a deal and Columbus is panicking.

Goalies values arent near as high as players, but I agree they should trade Lou they could get a better deal and Schneider is going to be a stud.

As for Super Bowl predictions: Giants win with Victor Cruz taking home MVP. You heard it here First! E4
