I don't think it's fixed & no I have seen it before, but that shi& didn't exist way back, back then they played with honor & ran the clock out & didn't hand them anything, if you think that shi& is normal, handing someone a TD to get the ball back then maybe the WWE & NFL should merge, yes I've seen it B4 & yes everyone knows it's a issue
but it's fuc&ed up in a Pro sports league

- puckhead17

No different than walking Bonds with the bases loaded, or fouling a guy to get him to the free throw line, or making your net empty at the end of a hockey game.

You DO understand the key is GETTING THE BALL BACK right? That the only way they win is to GET THE BALL BACK with as much time on the clock as possible right?

Jeez, you would think we are talking rocket science. It was sound, proven football strategy that happens at every level for as long as I have been watching football. The STUPID play in all this was Bradshaw scoring. And if the Pats receivers could catch the ball we might be talking about a Patriots win tonight.

Its NOT an issue, and never has been, except only to you and Joe apparently.

Yea i wonder if Coburn, JVR and 1st would be enough for Weber.. prolly not
- Slammed81

Considering that Thursday night Dreger said the asking price for Suter, a lesser player, was a good roster player, an A prospect a B prospect(meaning top level prospect and good prospect) and a 1st rounder

Only thing that can be worse is the Flyers trading JvR for a 2nd round pick, stay away Homer, please.

At least we agree on the NFL, your a Steeler fan, imagine Lambert escorting a running back into the endzone so Terry could get the ball back
- puckhead17

Yes that would have allowed Hockey to become baws in the U.S instead of this Ballerina in pads thing we see today. Even if my theory on the rigging of the league is false the product the NFL puts out today is not what I grew up with.

It was a tough catch but if Welker catches that one pass, NE wins the game. Welker will catch them the majority of the times.

From Dragon Ball Z. A anime I watched when I was a high schooler back in the late 90's. The Dudes hair would glow gold and when he changed he would get jacked and groan for a bit.

uuuuuu ok

And the Ultimate Warrior really took his vitamins, or was that Hulk Hogan?

as long as you've been watching football? I saw 70's 80's 90's football, I never saw a team open the field on purpose like that, that's why you have defense.
that's the same as pulling your goalie??

You don't trade a player like JVR just because it will get you the most in return. You trade if him if doing so makes your team better. Hell Giroux would get you the most in return. Should they trade him?

I dont feel like Weber is a realistic guy to get until he is put on the market. Nashville will let it be known when he becomes available as many teams will be offering a huge package to acquire him.

The key was that New England only had 1 time out. Say they stop Bradshaw. They burn their time out. The Giants take a knee twice, run the clock down to 2 seconds, then kick a field goal and Brady doesn't get a shot to win.

It's noble to say that teams in the past wouldn't have let him score out of pride, but it's also foolish, given the clock, field position and situation. When the other team can run the clock down to nothing and kick what is basically an extra point with no time left to win, you want the ball back ASAP.

Up until the whole hercule guy and them other seravallitards showed up iwas okay with the ocassional lame sideshow act. They needed to keep the weaklings they killed off dead too. Don't know why bringing them back so they could stand around and gasp in fear like they were holding a turd was productive to the show, and Im back to not kidding.
