who's on your list? is this vet someone you'd ideally want to keep beyond this season or are you looking for a UFA to keep the cost of the transaction down and just get through the playoffs?
- hammarby31

I really like someone like Bryan Allen. But what is that going to cost you? I'm not giving up a #1 pick or a roster player for him other then maybe a Harry Z. And I'm also not going to overpay to keep him past this year.

Coaches decision for Gustafsson. Bobrovsky made a lot of big saves in the game. I don't think he was bad. He got hung out to dry for the most part.
- MJL

I agree that Bob played well yesterday. If he wasn't playing well early it would have much worse.

Just looking for some opinions.

In my keeper league I picked up Pronger and stuck him on IR. Know someone is offering me Varlamov and Greening for him, Connolly, and Sanford.

Not sure what to do as his health status is so unknown, but at the same time I picked him up for nothing. Varly is struggling but I could use another goalie, and he certainly has the talent to develop into a true #1.

Is it a keeper league where you keep your whole team or just a couple players?

I also got stuck with the Devils and Rangers feeds and neither game is on HD

it's probably better to have a fuzzy feed if the flyers are going to crap the bed. why would you want to watch them lose in crystal clear HD gloriousness?

Gus needs to play IMO. He's an upgrade over MAB and Lilja.
- LordStanley88

Gus is talented, but he's small (and seemingly not very strong). He's getting pushed around a lot and not winning a lot of corner battles. I'm guessing Lava preferred the size and strength of Lilja and MAB over Gus' skill for what he expected to be 2 physical games against the Rags and Devils.

Long term, I think Gus may have a higher ceiling than MAB, but he's got to get stronger.

i want no part of moving a jvr or schenn or even read for that matter, and i don't want giving up anything lower than a 3rd round pick either. doesn't leave us with much to work with.

just made homemade nachos
Flyers at 1pm
off to a Superbowl party at 4pm

I ask all of you to pray for me

I think Hal Gill is just about the best combo of size, experience, and toughness that we could get for a mid to low round pick. I'm with you - do not want to trade Read or any other roster forward except maybe Harry Z. or Rinaldo.

UGH...already we're sucking ass?!? Come on boys...

seriously, that's just not fair. bryz had no chance on that bounce and then deflection.

nice job by jagr turning the puck over at the far line.

Be nice to get that goal back here on the PP. Not off to a great start though.
