Exactly what has Josh Bailey done to warrant a promotion to the second line?

The fact that he's the second best playmaking center on the roster. The fact that Frans is a two way forward who specializes in his defensive play.......which to me translates to 3rd line center. Those two should switch.

Can someone please tell me why the Sabres need 2 scrubs like Okposo and Bailey? we don't need anymore average players, these guys do nothing for this team.

Then why does Frans have double the points of Bailey? I agree about Frans being a 3rd line center, but Bailey should be producing more. And I don't want to hear about Rolston because A) He hasn't played on the same line as him for the whole year and B) This is Rolston's first year as an Islander.

Miller has swagger ? Is that what the team has had the past week. I thought it was chunkage coming from their pie hole

At some point, the Islanders need to convert prospects into NHL players. Since when do all prospects pan out? I never said they were top tier players, but they are really good NHL-ers. A top line winger and a top 4 d-man RIGHT NOW. You're giving up a few young players, who may very well be nothing. Let's talk in 5-10 years and see where all these guys ended up. I'm willing to sacrifice some prospects from the highest end farm system in the NHL right now for some real players who could help us turn the corner.

Except that Stafford makes $4M per year and Okposo makes $2.8M. I'd rather Okposo at those prices.

You're not getting better than guys like Pominville. I guess you're one of those fans who wants to trade Dylan Reese for Rick Nash, but unfortunately, this isn't playstation.

You can play monday morning quarterback all you want, but at the time Yashin was a dominant player in the league. His stats when the isles traded for him were elite. He was coming off two 40 goal seasons. Noone liked any of Milburys trades obviously but on paper trading two prospects for a 40 goal scorer is better than trading 2 prospects for a 20 goal scorer.

He was actually coming off a season where he didn't play because he sulked like a little b*tch because he thought he was underpaid. And please. Everyone knew what Chara was. You don't trade 6'9'' D-men with his shot.

Fran's is getting more playing time. What do you mean you don't wanna hear about Rolston???? He's played with him 90 percent of the season. First year as an islander??? Josh bailey has neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr been given wingers who the organization considers top prospects. He's never had consistent line mates. How can you form chemistry like that?
