Actually I can't watch the game, so I have no idea if the goals were bad or not. Just looking at the box score and saw that he let in 3 goals on 9 shots and once again we make a scrub like Montoya look like a hall of famer.

It all depends who you replace as coach, I am NOT saying the coach is the entire problem, what I am saying is, it is just too stale and he is too set in his way, seriously some of these guys are good players, I mean look how McCarthur has blossomed in Toronto, it's partly the system and the coaches as well as the players.

I think there are certain pieces that need a chance of scenery

Boston has a good third line.

According to The Hockey News depth chart St. Louis depth chart has Arnott, Langenbrunner, and Andy McDonald as their third line. Pretty good.
No matter who Detroit has on their third line they will do the job right.

Okay, so Lindy Ruff puts out a line of Adam-Boyes-Gaustad. The one guy who is not a center is playing center. Ruff is going the way of Richard Jauron and trying to out-think himself.

Gerbe, Regehr....a few guys have perhaps 3 of the above, but that's about it. #4 is what kills me the most. Other than a handful of guys, it always seems like this team is content with what is going on. Who is punching holes in the wall and flipping garbage cans? You don't even see signs of frustration from the guys; chippy, borderline play in blowout losses, fights, emotion, etc.
