Tyler Myers could be the next big thing too. We all talk about how much we wanted Weber and how we miss Pronger. Then you keep in mind how much of an impact Chara has had with Boston. I think some of us forget about Myers because all eyes aren't on the Sabers these days and I think he's been hurt. I would be as equally as happy to pick up Tyler Myers as I would Shea Weber. If the Sabers wanted Myers for JvR, where do I sign?

Myers had a semi-impressive rookie year, dropped off in his sophomore season last year, and had a wrist injury hamper him this season. I don't think he's on pace to match last year's stats, to be honest.

A swap of 1st round picks, even up? I might be willing to chance that. Even if he turns into nothing more than a Coburn with a few more goals, he'll be solid enough. The kid is definitely big enough at 6'8" and about 230.

I try to leave my trade thoughts to my fantasy teams, but I'd have to consider this one.

EDIT - On second thought - and having visited capgeek - the $5.5 cap hit he'll be carrying from next year through the '18/'19 season might be a bit much, at least for the immediate future. Don't know if the Flyers should take that on.
