Laviolette was asked post-game, and he said there was nothing to feel good about. He said at the end of the day they didn't get points, and that's the bottom line. I don't agree 100%, but I admire his honesty.

I don't think he has been suspended at the NHL level yet, he has been suspended in the minors.

I have a bad feeling that punch Schenn took is going to end up being a concussion, I admire Schenn's courage there, and although Kovalchuk isn't a fighter per say, he's giving away too much size and strength fighting Kovalchuk. Would be a shame if he has to miss games now, he's really settled in and has performed well.

Not sure. The Shanahan suspension videos I have seen, have never mentioned a minor league suspension history.
