To be fair, they have made a number of comebacks this season. It just wasn't in the cards today.
- BoomGoesTheCoburn

at this point I'll be happy if Bryz doesn't give up a goal.

Are you watching the game or reading comments about the game from ignorant media members?

Happens too often to this team for it to be "just one of those games".
- eayost

For a team that it happens to alot how can they have this many points in the season? Their not as bad as were all making them out to be. They have inconsistent play but what team doesnt during the course of a season.

I agree to a degree. The only thing that I see is if your team doesnt come to play your goalie will be exposed.
- stveshdy

No question. Wouldn't matter if the Flyers had Roy, or Bernie, or Hasek in goal today. This type of team effort and you will be embarrassed regardless of who the goalie is.

They just didnt respond well today...sometimes it happens.

Of course I wish they played better.

They should come out plenty motivated against the Rags tomorrow.

I AGREE. They cant give the same effort they displayed today. Have to play a better all around game.

Sorry folks, I slept in past the 1pm start time. Turned the game on seconds after the 6th goal....this is obviously all my fault. Luckily, because I'm watching now, the tide will turn....yes....this game is ours!

At this point I just want to see them come out and win the third period. Act as if the game is 0-0, and win the period using the momentum in to tomorrow.

No doubt about that. If they lose tomorrow it would raise a ton of red flags.

It would be said he was hung out to dry by anyone who knew something about hockey.

Thing I don't understand is this, Bobrovsky and Bryzgalov shouldn't be viewed with the same expectations. Bryzgalov should be critiqued more critically based on his contract and his experience.

- PLindbergh31

I know something about hockey, But in some aspects Bob get coddled a bit more than Bryz. If you get a break down its a breakdown no matter how you slice it. For some reason you can leave someone alone in front of Bryz and expect to him to act like jesus, where as Bob its ok beause he was "hung out to dry". Thats bull crap

I dont think its all on Bob today but he isnt making matters any better. He gave up a couple of goals that could of changed the game. The second and third goals late in the period were a back breaker.

Hey Dude, my cousin joined our league and he's already 3-0 as far as I know. He beat the Kings twice and then took me out in a shootout. It's funny because I had no ideae he was this good, especially because he's playing as the Leafs. He normally lives and breaths Football but my god, he's a beast so far. Last I checked he was playing the Hawks. I don't know the final on that one.

Yea and no matter how much you get paid it doesn't make you suddenly supernatural either. His experience probably tells him in those moments of being screwed- don't pull a groin.
No I am not debunking your argument either as I have been trying to get that same point across to people all season.

No question about it. An effort like today and you get embarrassed regardless of who the goalie is, plain and simple.

My problem with Bryzgalov is that he has let in a good amount of soft goals this year. And that simply shouldn't happen.

Refs are just giving away goals against the Flyers now, thinking that they're going to be scored anyway. I don't see a point to playing through the game anymore. Just say it ended 7-0 and call it a day.

quite a good prediction there kettle
