It's not all him either, when they all play like they are today they couldn't even beat Columbus.

It a team wide failure today.

Except Shelley. He's been fantastic. He won that one faceoff he took.

could you imagine if the entire playoffs were saturday 1:00pm starts? with the way this team plays those games, why even bother?

Has NJ scored 6 goals in any game this entire year let alone in a period and a half?
- stveshdy

I'm guessing probably not.

It's always the goalie's fault. It is known.

Bob had little to no chance on most of the goals.
- PLindbergh31

On the flip side what would be said of Bryz right now if he were in for that? Id say there would be 3-5 pages of Bryz bashing

Down to 5 dmen, and 11 forwards. I don't think Lilja played another shift after getting injured. Which may not be a bad thing.
- PLindbergh31

Shoot...I am not worried about Lilja. Rather see Gus and/or MAB and then see them get a cheap solid physical vet stay at home. Which forward wen down? have only been sporadically peeking at the atrocity on ice today.

EDIT: Jesus is that 5-0 now? Last time I checked it was 3. Good god. All They need for this game is these guys :

They were still in the game if they wanted to be after the Kovalchuk goal. They just didn't respond the way you need to when adversity like that comes up in a game. That kind of stuff can happen in playoff games, and apparently this team will just implode rather than wake up.

this could be a good thing, maybe homer will go out and get a defenseman now.

Is Lou a good backup? I could see a tandem of Bryz/Lou really working.

It would be said he was hung out to dry by anyone who knew something about hockey.

Thing I don't understand is this, Bobrovsky and Bryzgalov shouldn't be viewed with the same expectations. Bryzgalov should be critiqued more critically based on his contract and his experience.

To be fair, they have made a number of comebacks this season. It just wasn't in the cards today.

Happens too often to this team for it to be "just one of those games".

I agree to a degree. The only thing that I see is if your team doesnt come to play your goalie will be exposed.

Yeah he's a great team guy. He shows his feminine side by crying all the time. Stanley cup experience, gold medal winner.

Great poker player too.
