Well, Kimmo's penalty was just a brain fart, so I'd call that playing poorly. Coburn's hook was a bit weak, but in general lots of hooking penalties result from a player not working hard enough to get better position and having to hook their check.

I'd have to agree that the Flyers lack jump, and are not matching the Devil's intensity, effort, or physical play. They are definitely not playing their best.

i went over the calls in an earlier post, my point being i think they didnt play that great, but i dont think the penalties were a result of that, stick doesnt break, no call, bad decision by timmo, but was in good position, and hooking was a bad call i thought, esp after what the devils get away with...BS
