The game has done well but scoring hasn't flourished and is down again this year. Defensive coverage has been stressed like never before.

Still a lot of standing Around. On the forecheck before the penalty Hosea is standing there putting no pressure on their d when they had the puck in their zone.

Thankfully a one timer works. Nice goal and good job getting in late so they can go back to the locker room feeling pretty good. Pretty solid period.

There is noticeable more urgency on both ends of the ice. If you forecheck hard, you don't necessarily need to hit as much. I like the forecheck so far.

1 to 1 but I don't have much confidence that Emery can keep them in this game.

Nice to see them not give up after that first goal and now they're back in it. Calgary is really targeting Kane tonight. Way for him to step up and power through it.
