This is a great break down. He spent his whole career on the West coast, so typically he only saw each east coast team once a year....

I wonder if anyone can further break this down and show his career stats vs the east coast teams before his move to the east...

Hopefully if this trend is correct, then it wont be too long before Bryz adjusts and becomes that big shut-down goalie were thought we were signing.

- RooNosHockey

Okay, So I looked up some further stats, but this only includes road games for BRYZ... But they are career numbers.

VS east coast teams 31 gp, 12 wins, 13 loses, 3 OTL, 2.98 GAA, 0.900 SV%, 2 SO

Vs West coast teams 112 gp, 41 wins, 47 loses, 17 OTL, 2.76 GAA, 0.910 SV%, 8 SO

Again this was all road games because the page I was looking at shows Bryz'z records at each arena, and you cant tell which games were vs east or west coast when playing at home...

Could be the Firefox proxy settings, though I can't imagine how those would change by themselves.

Some time between 8am and now, Chrome on Mac broke too.

Good game all around. The energy guys (Rinaldo, Harry Z) make rookie mistakes on occasion, but I love the energy they bring when they're around. In particular, Rinaldo's hit and entire shift after Nashville scored was great.

Should there be anything read into the swap of a AHL Defenseman for a AHL Foward? Who's going to fill Marshall spot? Are they going to drop a NHL'er down to the AHL'er, to make room for a new face on the Flyers?

Phantoms were carrying 8 defensemen and had used a D as a winger more than a couple times. The Phantoms just really needed forward depth, especially if JvR &/or Briere stay out and the Flyers keep Sestito and others up.

I don't mean this in a bad way MJL, if you read this. I think my point was proved last night. Wayne Simmonds took 10 shots and scored two goals. Take more shots, score more goals. Doesn't make him a sniper, obviously, but I think that performance last night put that debate to rest... in my opinion.

Ok So I found Bryz's career stats east vs west...

East: 75 GP, 36 W, 26 L, 8 Otl, .904 SV%, 2.74 GAA, 3 SO
West: 286 GP, 139 W, 100 L, 32 Otl, .916 SV%, 2.52 GAA, 21 SO

And remember the west numbers inculed a few years where Phoenix was just aweful, and had to play in a tough division.

So I do think that some of what Bryz is going through is adjusting to the East Coast style of play, and thier new shooters, and the oppenents coaching strategies.
