That was the movie that made me really like John C. McGinley. It indirectly made me a Scrubs fan.

As for the "feel" of the movie, the mortgage company I worked for, from 1999 - 2001, was much like it. Nary a day passed without hearing someone say, "This place is just like 'Office Space.'"

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger was on the NHL on TSN panel last night to discuss the Maple Leafs trade situation leading up to the deadline. Dreger said that Leafs GM Brian Burke is desperate to make a move and will take a run at Philadelphia Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk.

pretty much unanimous from observers in TOR that schenn is held in higher regard outside the area than he is by the leafs. more like voracek for schenn, but I think Burke is aiming higher.

I think they're horrible and create drama that isn't there and report nonsense and the lack of hockey knowledge is laughable.

they're a joke. part of it is that the in-depth reporting isn't demanded by the area. this isn't toronto or montreal, and as much as the flyers have a great fanbase, this will always be a football and baseball town first. hell, even the sixers are garnering more attention here in a matter of weeks than the flyers get on a regular basis, depsite the fact that the flyers are contenders year in and year out.
