Someone should share my pain
this coming weekend for me went from
Going to the Leafs/sens game to Going to Tremblant for the weekend to now going to a dinner party the wife because both of those plans fell through and she accepted an invite for us... and I have to figure out a way to watch the game and the fights on Sat night.
any ideas? - senstroll

I watched the last 3 UFC events on the feed I got from French, if you are patient, and eliminate the popups, you get great video feed with full sound.
I have thanked him many times. |

Yes, I want 5. I'm kind of looking at every 5 game clip and thinking they need to be in the 6-8 point range out of the ten avilable. They're last 5 r working out well, as they're already at seven. Playing like that (With swings to 6 and even hopeully ten) the rest of the way will get us in 100%
They may lose some that we expect them to win, they may win some we wouldn't expect them to win. I really like what this year's been for the Leafs, if they continue what they've been doing they'll be playing extra hockey this year.
Also, I think the team is learning how to win games without relying on goaltending which is a real plus! Reimer made some solid saves, but his D kept Pittsburgh to the outside for the most part... - PTVinnyMac
yea...our team does appear to be gaining more experience and slowly developing which is nice to see. Great goaltending may be the difference between a few wins or losses, but it seems as though the team is starting to play well together and figuring out what each person needs to do to secure wins.
Its also nice to see Grabos line pick it up again...now if only Kessels line can keep on pace two, we would have two strong scoring lines! (thats to say that Grabo isnt traded, of course.) |

I just read something really cool about Reimer. While just about everyone who wasn't involved in the All-Star game took a vacation, Reimer spent the week in a Vancouver gym doing 2 a day workouts. I'm still not convinced that he's got what it takes to be a starting NHL goalie but you have to love the attitude on the guy. - Jeffmt
Reimer has worked his butt off to be an NHL goalie. The kid has got his size up, bettered his position, and calmed his poise in the net. He is and will be an NHL calibre goaltender.
He is having concussion issues. His brain is not allowing him to react as quickly as previous and is telling him to get out of the way. You can not over-rule your subconcious mind. Only time will let him get his confidence back. He needs to have those players bearing down on him, night after night and practice after practice without injury for his subconcious to release his natural reactions back.
Lombardi, Lupul and other skating players take multiple games to get back into the total swing of the game, after injury. Reimer plays less and is in a more vunerable position. A skater can stick to the outside, avoid the corners - a goaltender is stuck there to get run. The ref's have to stop the incidental contact play after play or Reimer and Miller (from Buffalo) may never regain their form. |

What a surprise the Grabo, Kuley, MacArthur line is starting to heat up, Wonder what they would have done if they were actually together for the whole season up to this point. |

Quite the accomplishment!!!
Did you know that the Leafs have to kill off something like the next 38 penalties to hit the accepted low water mark of 880% for PK!! - burn
Who cares what the rankings of our yearly power play or PK is. We finished the first half of the season with the worst PK in the league yet we still are in playoff contention.
A man who always looks at the path behind him will surely fall moving forward.
Point - Look at the last half of the season and only glance back to learn from your mistakes. Finding or searching for fault is a waste of time. |

Grabos compete level is insane. If he took a home town discount (500k-1m?) that would be awesome. Reimer must have been nervous last night, excellent job keeping that puck out of the net. It's good to have Liles and Army back. A player like Armstrong really helps us in our current situation to piss the other team the (frank) off (stay healthy!). We have got to get 2 points against Ottawa on Saturday night!!! |

Sign Grabo. Minus the bonehead play at the end of the game in Pitt, the guy's been great. He's very durable, tons of heart, and he's just a fantastic #2 centre. Hopefully the Leafs can continue on this trend and be a playoff team. Longer term at centre, one more year of Tim Connelly eating up our cap space, and then we will land our big fish, right when this group will be very cohesive. As for this deadline, I still think it will be JVR. - triggermartin
In all honesty Grabo's had a few brain cramps over the past couple games. Watch the game footage.
Grabo has made strides to better his two way game, but Kuli is what makes that line responsible in their own end. Grabo and Mac still make mistakes defensively. They are hoping that Kadri can become Grabo, they are very similar if you look closely. Small, gritty with tonnes of offensive upside but a tendency to miss their defensive assignments. Grabo has put up the points to overlook that but Kadri has yet to. |

K, I'm looking at the standings and I just need some clarification....
The top 4 spots in the conference go to the 1st place teams in each division?
With that logic, could a team do (frank) all the whole year and just beat up on their own division and make the playoffs in a top 4 position?
Am I missing something here?
If so, please clarify. |

He fought as Bear Cat Olsen.
He retired at 33 after losing the Canadian title match. His mother wanted him to stop. He actually became an accountant.. |

Grabo is a much faster skater than Kadri, esp, with the puck. He uses his speed far more than Kadri. Also, you are underestimating Grabo's emerging defensive game. He was matched shift for shift with Malkin for both games and he did a damn good job on him. |
