After the year Bozak had, Burke had to do something to address the C position. Just be thankful it's a two year deal and nothing crazy like Leino.

this whole grabo situation really sucks. u gotta think, other than parise or suter who both wont realistically get moved at the deadline, grabo can probably get the next biggest return. id hate to be in burkies position right now.

As Kypreos pointed out this morning, Grabo is playing himself to be untradeable.

Ths asking price will simply be too high.

It would not be the worst thing if the Leafs had to resign him.

But I really respect that they want to be an exciting team in all three zones all game long. Say what you want about guys like Hitchcock and Trotz, but they coach the most boring hockey on the planet. I mean they kind of have to in their markets but we don't have to watch that in Toronto.

it was a huge win! not only does it keep them in the playoff hunt but it does a couple more things:

1: improves burke's position in the trade market

2: shows burke that the current team can hold their own in a tight game

and army and liles both had alot to do with that.. they are key factors in the leafs lineup.. damn i hope they stay healthy.. especially army

yea from the few minutes of the game that I caught, it appeared that they played a slightly different, more defensive style game that sometimes lacked the night before. It was almost as if the game continued into last nights game and they were trying to fight back for the lead

But its good to see we can compete hard twice in a row against a stronger team like the Penguins...now if we can only start creaming teams within our own conference who were fighting for a spot....

Also, it re-illustrates their resilience. They needed to pull out a win last night, come back strong and they did. And I hope we as fans and critics give them the full credit they deserve.

I'm very happy with last night's win, very happy. Now on to Saturday night.
