they alrdy tried resigning him now, talks broke down. he's hands down the best centre available this summer, looking at what mediocre players get in free agency (ie: leino 27$ mil for 6 years) theres no way we can get him for less than 5 mil a season. then the question is r u willing to sign ur 2nd line centre for 5 mil? personally i would say sign him and just let him play 1st beside lupul n kessel and then go out and get a gritty 2nd line centre

just to quickly put the leino contract in perspective. yesterday i was looking at box scores to check my pool points, then looking at the sabres i realized gaustad has same number of assists as leino and 2 more goals. thought it was pretty funny

i agree with signing g-bov and trading for another centre. i know itll never happen but i would love if burke could somehow grab pavelski but theres no way in hell san jose would deal him. i think with grabo/pavelski we'd be more than ok at the c position

He's too small to add anything to this team we need someone big and mean for our first line that can pass,score and not afraid to take hits and dishes some at the same time. And I keep Kulemin unless it's a package that get's us Getz or Staal, and I wonder if we have the pieces to go after those guys!
