Neither goalie is great.

Hasek, Marty, Pat Roy. I've been spoiled by seeing too many all time great goalies in one lifetime. Everyone else is just fluff and a product of huge equipment and a defense friendly league.

Vezina's mean jack squat to me. It's an individual award. I can play that game too, Luongo plays for Buffalo 05/06 and 06/07, he wins one. I'm not a fan of either.

I used to be ok with McGuire but as time goes on,it is more and more apparent how annoying he is.

my two cents

great is a word that gets over used
and miller had a presidents trophy team as well and could not get to the finals
remove a soft goal vs the canes in game 7 and maybe they get to the finals the season before

Career gaa 2.28 sv%.920, has more wins too

going on 7yrs in a row of 30 wins and a gaa under 2.43. gong on 4 out of 7yrs with a sv% over .920, with 3 in a row.


Still hasn't won jack sh!t and 6mil is 10% of the cap.

Best they have looked so far this season, playing purpose and hussle, see how long it lasts.

One is going on 32 the other is going to be 36.

One weighs 175 soaking wet the other is 187.

One was 1 win away from a cup and posted a 1.85 gaa and a .928sv% in the playoffs that year.

One has red hair the other black.

One plays in Buffalo the other in Calgary.

I almost hate to say this, but I am starting to think there really may have been something to the injury excuse. At least defensively this team has been drastically better since they got back Regehr and Ehrhoff.

Man I don't have any magic answers, I just think Miller is still a good keeper who with a few adjustments up the middle can lead this team pretty far into the playoffs. I do think Miller has a tougher shell than Luongo (neither would last long at the bottom of lake Erie with a Walleye swimming by) and if I had to place a six pack bet I would say Miller raises the cup as a starter before Luongo. Takers?
