I like to read the blogs and get the wheels turning, just for fun. its just a rumor site after all, but this ranking of buyers and sellers is just stupid, phoenix is neutral? the calgary flames are sellers? look at the rosters, the flames have a better forwards, better goaltending and they are younger, but they should sell? And the canadiens are probable buyers? they have less assets and less of a reason to buy then new jersey. i am starting to think eklund doesnt even watch hockey and just trolls the internet and bases all of his opinions on standings and nothing else.

you have Edmonton at a 4. There is no way they are above a 2.5

you have Calgary at a 4.2 but by my calculations it should be closer to 6.

NYI is listed as 8.1....and im okay with that but i think you underestimate the patience of the fanbase. I have them at a solid 9.3.

Maybe you could consider some of this if you do any revisions to the list

Well Ek, since you asked what I think of your system...

You could have saved yourself a whole lot of time by just writing out a list of teams and thinking about their season so far and then just guessing whether they would buy or sell.

Since most teams will end up selling and buying, there is very little chance you could be wrong either way. So, please don't come back and tell us how well your formula worked after the fact.
