Are they actually getting more ice time or are you just sour that the team sucks? Show me the numbers.

Its not lindy, its the lazy uninspired play that the team puts out that makes a coach choose perhaps a bottom 6 player over someone like Adam,Roy,Leino,Boyes,...

Goose and Kaleta avg more even strenth time on the Ice over Adam. Ellis gets a minute less than Adam.

With that said Adam was getting more ice time when he was on the top line. So the numbers are skewed. Another case of the numbers do in fact lie.

One might think that he would get more of a shot than guys like Stafford, Boyes, Roy, Ellis, Gaustad who have all struggled mightily this year.

Pissed off isn't exactly the emotion your whining evokes. Its more along the lines of worried for the fan-base.

Unfortunately Ellis isn't an NHL player. He is what he is. An AHL player playing in the NHL because the team he plays for wasn't built properly. That in and of its self is a problem. So he does become part of the problem. No cup contending team has Ellis in their starting 12 consistantly. He's a depth forward for one's AHL team and shouldn't even be on the radar for a call up. Those are facts. Sorry if you can't see that.

Yet they aren't. Guys like ellis are brought up and put on the playoff roster once their AHL team is out knocked out of the playoffs. See Ellis when he was on Detroit. Looking at the last 7 stanley cup winners, Ellis doesn't beat out any guy for a roster spot.
