If I had the time I'd dig it up but I'm 95% sure in one of your hourly mock-lineups this summer you had Pitlick penciled in on the 2nd line. But you also had Marincin in the NHL too so its not like I take you seriously.

Well, Pitlick did almost make the team last year, so it's very resonable to think he'd be 2C this year.

So guess what, I watched this guy play once, and uh he sucked, so just watch him play and you'll see what i'm talking about because all he does is suck. And just remember I watched him play.

Now they'll argue that hes improved. Or that he has in fact scored abit in the farm.
And his numbers say he deserves a shot Etc. Etc. Its a waste of time.
Its all just semantics.

Cornet belongs in the farm and is a career minor leaguer.
He'll do nothing of real value because hes not skilled enough for the show, get sent back, And that'll be that.

It is the coaches who make the call, and I think they have a better idea than you or I who to bring up andwhat their future potential is. If the coaches knew he was a career ahled than I dont think they would give him a shot. I'm not saying he will make the big club permanently or ever again, just that people with a LOT more hockey knowledge than you or I or anyone posting here made the call to send this 21 year old kid to the oilers for a game or more. Give a kid a chance ffs

I saw a bunch of guys play tonight and they were all terrible. Vic. royals vs P.g. Cougar with no Marincin cause he got traded one of the worst games ive ever seen live, and I used to only get echl here.

That had to be one of the worst wins I've ever seen live.

As for Cornet, his foot speed was terrible. If it doesn't improve it he probably doesn't even have a chance at a 4th line spot long-term. Although I was very impressed with his battle level along the boards and his ability to push off a check. This part of his game reminded me a lot of Omark.

Did Milan Kytnar deserve a call up?

Anyone that follows this team knows why Kytnar was called up and it had nothing to do with how anyone was playing.

Nah, there was very little. It had all to do with O'Marra becoming sick the day after we called him up and there being no way to get anyway from OKC to Edmonton in time for the game. It was either Kytnar, Abney or Martindale from the Stockton who were in Seattle at the time.

He was in the ECHL. His rookie season was decent. The only reason he got the call up was because O'Marra got sick.
