The point is, it's a 50/50 chance they score or not, no matter who it is. The same goes for the guys you want up there. Do I think Jagr has a better chance of scoring than those guys? I think so. Obviously it didn't happen tonight, but my point still stands.

So you're just going on a hunch. If a game was on the line, I'd still go with Jagr over inexperienced players and 2 dmen. I am not sure why this is hard to understand.

Jagr's career percentage is not high. I know this. I doubt Read, Jake, Mezzy or Timonen's are better. It's a crap shoot either way. For you to talk about shootout percentage and then list those guys doesn't make much sense to me.

In my opinion, using inexperienced young guys is just as much a crap shoot as using Jagr. At least Jagr has a history of being a highly skilled goal scorer. I'm not saying he's the go to guy in the shootout, but to say the decision to use him is questionable is not correct.

Any Flyers forward in the top 9 with the exception of Hartnell and Talbot should be able to score in the shootout 1 out of 3 times. Any of them.

Thats horse poop. Bryzgalov was awesome tonight. He did his job the rest of the (frank)ers needed to show up.

it's not that important what you do on jan 31. it's getting hot down the stretch and carrying that into the playoffs. that said it was a disappointing effort against a team we should beat, injuries or not. hopefully they pick it up.

I wish we had that Jagr but then again he would cost alot more.

He still has some skills but nothing like in that video.
