That's what I want to see. I don't think he was bad against the Bruins, just not especially good.
- Jsaquella

I dont think he was bad against the Bruins, is what I should have said.. Hell he was really good at parts of that game, and made a number of saves to keep the team in it.. But those are the games that I will take as one of his down performances.

Interesting stat.. Bryz is 10-3 in games where the opponents have recorded 30+ shots.

I like to see Schenn start putting up some big numbers in the 2nd half.

Those are two pretty potent guys unavailable for the Jets tonight, especially Kane, who always seems to be a thorn whenever he plays the Flyers. I feel good about this one for some reason
- eayost

I saw them with this lineup in NY last Tues. Although they lost 3-0, it was not really that lopsided a contest. They just had trouble finishing and the Rangers had Lundqvist. Flyers cannot take them lightly.

Will we never again see Kane fly past Pronger?

The game was a blast. Guacapoopie had fun. Got to see John Stevens again. He dropped the ceremonial puck, and was sitting in the section next to us. I was surprised, because he remembered me. Good time was had by all...

So, the first time you met you set him on fire? That makes you memorable.

We very rarely get mods on the pens boards. Except when we play in division teams Bo usually makes the general "Please keep it clean in here and stay on topic" threat.

Schenn's name has popped up in the rumor mill before, most recently linked to Philadelphia left winger James van Riemsdyk. If Burke is in pursuit of a top scoring forward, it will take a player like Schenn as the centerpiece in a package deal to get it done.

So it looks like others seem to think that any JVR/Schenn deal will require a package to come along with Schenn. I am firm that the Flyers might be able to get Schenn and a First for JVR and a 3rd.

I have to admit that I'm a little surprised Jagr isn't ready to go. Each time he's pulled his groin this season the guy has magically deemed himself healthy enough to play much sooner then we could all expect. I can understand the temptation and the sort of pressure he must put on himself to play but this is when games were actually going on. Jagr hasn't played in 10 days and the NHL has been on break for a week. I'm not looking to rush the guy but I'm just noticing that this might be the first time he isn't returning much sooner then he should.

Also from the article:

NO TAKERS FOR CARTER
Columbus Blue Jackets center Jeff Carter remains a fixture in the rumor mill, this time courtesy of TSN's Darren Dreger, who recently reported Carter was “100 percent available,” but added his hefty contract could prove difficult to move.

Dreger claimed the Blue Jackets were seeking the same return (a good young roster player and a first round draft pick) they gave up to the Philadelphia Flyers to land Carter, but doubted the Jackets would find many takers.

He also dismissed a rumor linking Carter to the Maple Leafs, saying they had no interest in taking on that contract.

Perfect! Any mistakes tonight will be blamed on the "break-in" period for new gear!

How many AHL call ups that have never scored an NHL goal are playing for the Jets tonight? That could be a key in deciding the game.

Seriously though...Lets (frank)ing go Flyers! Would like to see Bryz do that which shall not be mentioned tonight. It rhymes with cutout so lets see if Bryz is cutout for the stretch run in Philly. Its money time!
